Our interdisciplinary approach positions environmental professionals elbow-to-elbow with design engineers early in the planning process to consider all viewpoints in a fully collaborative integrated effort to avoid negative environmental impacts when feasible, minimize unavoidable environmental impacts through design solutions, and mitigate environmental impacts to assure no net loss upon project completion.

Planners are supported by in-house biologists, wetland scientists, geologists, architectural historians, archaeologists, and GIS specialists. Dewberry environmental professionals are accomplished in streamlining the environmental review process to shorten project schedules, build consensus and position our projects for approval. A key element of Dewberry’s approach is recognizing the critical role that regulatory agencies and the public play in project success. Our seasoned outreach specialists and environmental staff help us engage with stakeholders so that we can develop successful projects that enrich our communities.
