Dewberry has announced that Steve Tarallo has joined the firm as an associate vice president and manager of the water/wastewater practice in the firm's Baltimore, Maryland, office.
With more than 28 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry, Tarallo has been involved in a wide variety of water and wastewater engineering solutions, including process technology selection and design for advanced treatment, energy efficiency, and resource recovery. His technical acumen includes assessment of treatment deficiencies, development and selection of treatment process alternatives, strategic energy management, life cycle environmental analyses, life cycle cost estimating, and sustainability assessments.
In his most recent prior role, Tarallo served as a project director with responsibilities that included project management, business development, client relations, and professional staff oversight and supervision.
Tarallo obtained his master's degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary (1999), and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University (1989). He is an Envision Sustainability Professional and a member of the Water Environment Federation, Virginia Water Environment Association (WEA), Chesapeake WEA, New York WEA, New Jersey WEA, and the American Water Works Association.
