Dewberry, has announced the promotion of Brian Hollinger, PE, to associate vice president in the firm's Gainesville, Virginia, office.

Hollinger has more than 25 years of progressive construction and engineering experience related to the concrete, civil, and heavy highway industries. As the manager of construction services in the mid-Atlantic region, he is responsible for overseeing Dewberry's construction engineering professionals and inspection staff assigned to a wide range of projects, including complex transportation and infrastructure design-bid-build and design-build projects in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Hollinger earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Bucknell University. He is a professional engineer in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Concrete Institute.
