Dewberry has hired Scott Hunter as a senior project manager in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, office. Hunter is managing structural design projects with a focus on transportation.

Hunter brings more than 20 years of experience in structural and bridge design, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, and transportation project management. He is currently working on a variety of bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects on State Road 180 in Northumberland County and State Road 522 in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Prior to Dewberry, he was the project manager, lead bridge engineer and lead hydraulic engineer for a PennDOT Engineering District 3-0, 5-year $1M Open End Contract for engineering and environmental services.

Hunter received his bachelor's degree in structural design and construction engineering from the Pennsylvania State University (1995). He is a licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is the treasurer of the Williamsport section of the American Society of Highway Engineers and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
