The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District has selected six firms, including privately held professional services firm Dewberry, for six, five-year contracts, valued at $40 million each. The Dewberry contract was awarded to the Gannett Fleming – Dewberry Design Partners Joint Venture (GF- D Design Partners JV).
Under the contract, Dewberry’s scope of services may
include new construction, interior and exterior building renovations,
electrical upgrades, paving, utility infrastructure, and heating, ventilation,
and air conditioning upgrades. Building types may include administration and
training facilities, vehicle and pedestrian access control points, warehouses,
community support facilities, military testing facilities, troop housing,
recreation and physical fitness facilities, child development facilities,
medical and non-medical laboratories, and research facilities for military and
other non-military government agencies.
