Dewberry has announced that John Hoole has joined the firm as a senior project manager in the Rancho Cordova, California, office.
Prior to joining the firm, Hoole spent more than 20
years with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and more
than eight years with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). In his role
with Caltrans, Hoole was an office chief in the Division of Local Assistance,

federal processes, and taking an active role in business development
activities.
“We’re thrilled to welcome John to our growing
transportation group here in Rancho Cordova,” says Dewberry Vice President Matt
Satow, PE. “John’s background with Caltrans and FHWA will help us guide our
clients through challenging project elements and will facilitate successful
project outcomes.”
Hoole earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
from the University of Nevada, Reno (1991).
