The 57,500-square-foot Engineering Innovation Building is designed with reinforced structure to mitigate vibration from lab to lab and from exterior interference, supporting highly advanced experimentation. The building includes research laboratories, computational laboratories, departmental offices, and the four-story high-bay space for structural materials testing. This laboratory sits on a six-foot-thick reinforced concrete slab and features a 30-foot-high reinforced concrete reactive wall.
