We worked closely with the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority to ensure dredge deposits were accurately reported and measured. We also photographed the restoration progress.

We produced daily reports to monitor the levels and depths of dredge being deposited into the marsh. We supervised the construction contractor to ensure compliance with federal regulations for workers pay.

Restoration of the Louisiana coastline will have long-term benefits to the area, including improvements for native species and their ecosystem, as well as safeguarding cities from the effects of hurricanes.

To restore the Louisiana coastline along Lake Hermitage, we are providing construction administration and inspection services in support of a $32 million project to dredge material from the Mississippi River, which will be used to create 653 acres of new marshland in Plaquemines Parish. Working in a remote location with little telecommunications infrastructure was a challenge. We used mobile internet solutions to submit reports and other deliverables on time.
