We provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering and construction administration services to modify the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in Primrose Hall, which is located on North Carolina State University's (NC State) campus. The project included converting the HVAC system from a single-zone, variable-air-volume (VAV) system to a multiple-zone system in order to correct temperature control issues. The existing chilled water/heating hot water air handling unit was reused and new ductwork, heating hot water piping, and variable air volume terminal boxes were added above the new ceiling.
