The 47,000-square-foot, LEED® Gold certified Queen Creek Library was planned as a gathering place for people of all ages and designed to reflect a "Four Seasons of Nature" theme. Highlights include an expansive children's center with seasonal backdrops, a colorful "teen oasis," meeting rooms, vending areas, and comfortable reading areas. The design-build project includes 18,000 square feet of shelf space for future build-out. We worked with Dick & Fritsche Design Group and Core Construction on the project, among the first in the nation to introduce a "Deweyless" system with a bookstore-type approach.
